Society of St. Yves, the Catholic Legal Resource Center for Human Rights in Palestine & Israel. An effort to chronicle and personalize some of the flagrant injustices inflicted on Palestinians by the Israeli government and legal system. As in the case of the personal diary from Bir Zeit (see above), the tone tends to be negative and rather harsh, but once again the grievances that are documented are all too real, and they can only impede resolution of the conflict.
USICPME, the U.S. Interreligious Committee for Peace in the Middle East, is a national organization of Jews, Christians, and Muslims dedicated to dialogue, education and advocacy for peace based on the deepest teachings of the three religious traditions. The Committee works to generate public interreligious support for U.S. efforts to help Israel, the Palestinan Authority, and the Arab states achieve a negotiated, comprehensive, and reconciliatory peace.
